"Hi EquiNectar Team! I absolutely love your product and it has literally changed our lives!
I have a 5 year old thoroughbred mare, Vossi, who I have owned since the summer of her 3 year old year. She was broken in to race but proved too slow and far too relaxed!! I worked on the stud where she was born so I have known her for her whole life. She is a stressy type but I had always managed that with turnout and a good routine for her. The winter just gone however, she was in with very limited turnout and became a totally different animal. I was fairly certain it was ulcers and I didn't want to get her scoped immediately, nor did I want to treat her through the vets with injections, etc. so I started researching more natural ways!
For Mabel, this must have been incredibly unsettling. Her race training life had not been easy and then this wonderful human gave her this second chance and now she was gone. Life to her must have seemed incredibly confusing and scary again (and very cold!!).
Having had horses with ulcers, I knew just how quickly they can emerge and the impact they can have on behaviour. I also have gone down the scoping/omeprazole route in the past and six months later I faced the same issues...
I was literally about to call the vet as she was showing signs of gut discomfort and losing condition (despite all the feed I was pumping into her) when EquiNectar popped up on my social media. I called Ben who was so knowledgeable and reassuring.
I came across a popular antacid product and gave her an intense course of their FX product, to which she responded well. I naively stopped that and she went back to being a demon mare again. Quickly I restarted and also their Maintenance product in order to keep it in her system and continue with it long term. In the back of my mind the whole time was EquiNectar. The popular antacid product had helped with the spooky behaviour and out of character sharpness that we had suddenly developed but if anything, highlighted the girthiness, grumpiness with rugs and not letting me touch her sides, let alone brush her. Again, all of these things are so out of character for her, she normally just loves being touched and pampered! With all of this in mind, knowing I was only really tackling the foregut, I decided it was time to try EquiNectar and my god, what a difference it has made!!!
She has now been on it just short of a month and I now have my lovely horse back!! I am still using both products but I think they go hand in hand so incredibly well and I tell anyone who will listen! She is just starting her eventing career and with EquiNectar, I have back the ability to train and compete her without the worry of her not being okay!
One of my dogs has an exceptionally sensitive tummy and the next port of call for her will be your canine product (CaniNectar).
