This is Calle, a trotting horse who started receiving EquiNectar after a period when he wasn’t quite himself. Now, he and his team have something wonderful to celebrate!
Calle has qualified for the Derby – Finland’s biggest race for four-year-olds!
This is a huge achievement, especially as he is the first horse from the yard ever to qualify for the race.
In the photograph below, you can see Calle with his groom, Heidi, who works closely with him in his everyday care and training. Since starting EquiNectar, Calle has made positive progress, and it is wonderful to see him performing at this level. For us, it is particularly rewarding to follow his journey and watch him continue to develop in his training and racing career.
Of course, an achievement like this comes from many elements working together: good training, feeding, recovery, care and a horse with the willingness to perform. EquiNectar has become part of Calle’s daily feed ration and his journey towards being better prepared to perform.
From a horse who was grumpy and reluctant to run to one who qualified for Finland’s biggest four-year-old race. What a transformation!
