"Kyro is a 17’3 ID Cross, and he'll be 17 in a few weeks. Last September we had some problems with hoof wall separation in the left fore, but not much else. Then an episode of lameness for a week, which resolved. Thereafter it all went wrong. Dull, sad looking, touchy girth area, cellulitis in the right fore, mites, off his food, poor mane and hoof growth.

Vets reviewed him along this journey and found laminitis in the left fore, but blood tests - kidneys, liver, Cushing's, EMS, all in normal range. I did a lot of research into his symptoms and felt hind gut problems could be the cause.

Feed changed. From alfalfa/balancer, to Speedibeet, concentrated balancer, and EquiNectar. He's been on this now for 5 months. He is generally happier, healthier, improved mane and hoof growth, good body conditioning. Remedial shoeing for 5 months.

People who haven't seen him for a while are surprised at how well he looks. I think that EquiNectar has had a significant impact on his well-being. Thank you from the both of us.

Just to add, his asthma has improved, I've been able to reduce his inhaler and he has a gastric ulcer history. I recently talked to Ben I think, and we talked about gradually increasing his dose due to his size (950kg) so he's on 5 pumps twice a day."
