HORSE OF THE WEEK
HENRY
October 2023:
I bought Henry five months ago as my first 'adult' horse. He's a very successful showjumper, but I took everything back to basics to re-establish his flat work. Initially, I thought he was being lazy as he was somewhat resistant to working forward. However, I soon realized that he had a very sensitive stomach and hind gut sensitivity.
My instructor suggested I try EquiNectar after various gut supplements, balancers, and pro/prebiotics proved ineffective. Within ten days, Henry was moving forward into upward transitions and offering a contact without discomfort. His stomach has remained stable through seasonal and grass changes, which means he can sustain his workload without needing breaks for everything to settle.
He's been happier to groom, tack up, and calmer overall. We even had a horse whisperer visit who, without any prior knowledge of Henry, mentioned he had recently experienced hind gut pain but is feeling much better now. As skeptical as one might be, Henry stands as a living testament to the transformative power of EquiNectar!
December 2023 update:
Henry moved to a new yard last week, and the transition has been smooth, thanks to EquiNectar.
Considering his sensitivity, I was concerned about the change in grass, hay, and environment, but Henry hasn't had any tummy flare-ups! I'm so delighted.
